Gee, it’s been a hot minute, hasn’t it? 😅Our lives in the Corey home exploded this last week! Dave and I sat down and planned another quick getaway for a few weeks out, and trust me I am counting down the days for a rejuvenating retreat in the sunshine! ☀️

After perusing Instagram last week for an hour or so (guilty 🙈) I discovered this gorgeous hardworking couple that I just HAVE to share with you all! Finding their classic home designs they’ve shared with the world totally justified my endless scrolling.

Tom & Cara Fox

Tom and Cara, creators of The Fox Group, have been dishing up classic, timeless, extravagant design in both architecture and interiors for over 25 years combined. Couldn’t help but have even more Utah pride when I discovered they are from the Salt Lake area! What’s amazing though is they also offer long distance services!

This home is truly a masterpiece. I love that they aren’t afraid to play with color and pattern, whilst keeping the lasting look by showing off the amazing millwork and moulding of which they specialize. I hope you enjoy exploring these homes as much as I did!

I’m in love with everything about this home. The lavish, luxury landscaping; Exposed brick chimneys; the eight pointed star railing details; the shingle-style exterior with that hint of blue; and of course, a classic dormer, to add that bit of “french sophistication”.

This entryway is breathtaking. The craftsmanship of that floor is phenomenal! Not to mention, I am a huge sucker for dutch doors; and this is double-dutch! Cara shared a bit on their Instagram about the symbolic nature of the star motif constantly found in their home. You should check it out!

I cannot get over this dining room. The millwork, the wainscoting, the painted trim, the old style frames and lanterns, the gorgeous windows with their roman shades, the chinoiserie. That brilliant Swedish inspired rosemåling detail on the cabinets? Heart eyes big time.

Talk about closet perfection. I absolutely LOVE the idea of a master closet island, and the attached seating is brilliant.

That homework station is so elegant it could be found at Oxford, I swear. This theater is so unique! I love that they didn’t compromise on style for function. You can totally have both, and this room is proof!

And last but not least is this breakfast room, filled with all of the cottage charm goods that anyone and everyone is lusting after. They even have a little fox in the corner for their family! Ahhh so darling! This is our inspiration for “Do it on a Dime” this week!
